Hello Kitty Scooters

Here are some pics of Hello Kitty scooters.  If you’ve never ridden a scooter (with Hello Kitty or otherwise), it’s a lot of fun!  When I was 10 and visiting Japan, I got to ride one a few times. I was too young to drive, but it was still exciting being a passenger.

Hello Kitty Cart

I saw this at the Hello Kitty Sightings blog and wanted to pass on this picture of a Hello Kitty Cart. I bet this would make shopping with a toddler so much easier and cuter too to boot!

Hello Kitty Bus

If Hello Kitty had her own bus company (who knows maybe she does?!), this might be what her buses look like. Actually, I did a bit more digging and these are HATO buses. It’s one of Japan’s oldest bus tour companies. If you want to hop on a kitty bus, check out their English website here.

Hello Kitty Airport Lounge

Earlier I wrote about EVA Air’s Hello Kitty airplane, well, it turns out they also have a special Hello Kitty airport lounge too at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. As a girl, I just think cute, cute, cute! But, I can just imagine the downward psychological spiral felt by some of the men. First, they get a boarding pass with Hello Kitty on it. “That’s not so bad.” They get to the airport, the gate area is decorated with Hello Kitty. “Hmm, this is a bit odd.” They board the plane where they have no where to escape. “Kill me now! No, wait, then all my guy friends will know I was on this plane. ”

Hello Kitty Airplane

Back in 2005, Taiwanese airline EVA Air painted one of their airplanes with Hello Kitty and her friends. The redesign extended into the interior of the plane including boarding passes, baggage tags, dining utensils and flight attendant uniforms.

There are now 2 Hello Kitty planes that fly from Taipei to Tokyo and Fukuoka. Check out their Hello Kitty airport lounge.

I came across this picture of a Hello Kitty-shaped exhaust pipe and had to share it. According to a note on BoingBoing.net, it appears to be the real deal and not a PhotoShop-ed image.
